In Pathmonk, tracked events help you measure key actions on your website, like purchases or form submissions.
If you need help setting up your tracked events, please read this article: How to track conversions in Pathmonk
You can easily review, update, or remove these events at any time.
How to check your tracked events
1. Click on Analytics in the top menu.
2. Select Events → Overview.

In this dashboard, you’ll see two categories:
Pathmonk goals: These define where you want to take the prospect, for example, a landing page with a contact form.
Tracked events: These measure when a conversion actually happens, for example, when a visitor hits the thank-you page after submitting the form.
Every goal should have an associated tracked event. This allows Pathmonk to understand not only whether visitors are reaching your goals, but also if they are actually converting.
Beyond that, you can create as many tracked events as you need. In the example above, the customer is tracking the successful completion of both goals using a thank-you page for each, and an additional conversion via a pixel tracking a different form submission.
How to modify your tracked events
If you want to make changes to an existing event — for example, updating the name, monetary value, or thank-you page URL — simply click on the event name to open its details.
You’ll see several tabs on the left side of the event card. Each one allows you to review or edit a specific part of your setup:

Details: Here you can edit the main information about your tracked event:
Goal name: The internal name of your event (e.g., “Free Quote Submission” or “Purchase”).
Goal Type: The category for this event (e.g., Conversion, Awareness).
$ Value: The monetary value you’ve assigned to this conversion.
Additional Notes: Add context or comments for your team.
Once you’ve updated the fields, click Save to confirm your changes.

Tracking Method: This tab defines how Pathmonk tracks the event.
If your goal is a Web URL Goal, you’ll see the URL of the thank-you or confirmation page being tracked. You can update the URL here if your destination page has changed, then click Save.
If it's a pixel, this is where you'll see the script.

Status: This section shows real-time tracking data for your event. You can check:
Goals received in the last 5 minutes, 24 hours, and 30 days.
A list of recent goal completions with timestamps.
If you’ve just made a change and want to confirm everything’s working, click Refresh to reload the data.

Connected Platforms: This tab lets you connect your tracked event with third-party tools for analytics, ads, or automation.
You can integrate with:
Analytics: Google GA4
Ads platforms: Google Ads, Meta, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok
Automation tools: Zapier, Make, n8n. These will allow you to connect Pathmonk to virtually any tool out there and build your own automation workflows.
How to archive your tracked events
If you no longer need an event and want to keep your dashboard organized, you can archive it. To do so, simply click on the event name to open it, then select Archive in the bottom-left corner.

Archiving will permanently remove the event from your active tracking. Keep in mind that once an event is archived, it can’t be recovered, so make sure you don’t need its data before proceeding.
