Customize the contextual menu for desktop and mobile viewers

Pathmonk's contextual menu is located in different areas on desktop vs. mobile versions of your site. Desktop viewers will see the contextual menu shown on the right side of the screen while mobile visitors' contextual menu will be located at the bottom of the screen.

Show/Not show Contextual Menu

You can decide if you want to show Pathmonk's sidebar widget on all devices, only desktop, only mobile, or not at all. When critical actions on the website are made more visible, usage of them can increase.

  1. Go to Customization
  2. Click Appearance & Display
  3. Scroll to the tile: Contextual Menu
  4. Pick your desired option in the dropdown
  5. Save by clicking Update

Change tile 1: Hub

In the contextual menu, the first tile opens the hub. This card is a way to share some details about the company.  A couple of short sentences to help your visitors know more about your company or the services you offer.

  3. In the Experience dropdown select Hub Menu

  5. Click the pen icon, change the text to your preference, and save with the tick icon

Change tile 2: Conversion goal

In the contextual menu, the second tile opens the conversion goal that is currently active for each user. This means a user in the Awareness stage will see the goal for the Awareness stage and a user in the Decision stage will see the goal that is set for the decision stage. It is recommended to use a generic icon text such as Explore.

Alternatively, this tile can open your "Welcome Large" experience including your welcome video. This is a good way to give your users a quick & personal explanation of what you are all about. In this case, it is recommended to use a relevant icon text such as Intro.
