Content Best Practices
Pathmonk offers color customization options to provide a seamless integration with your website. Here are some best practices to get the best results.
Do:
- Utilize the customization option for the micro-experiences. By default, all of the text will be in black Roboto font. Make the micro-experiences your own with your brand's colors and chosen font
- Choose an accent color that is bold and stands out
- Keep accessibility options in mind. Test multiple colors to get the best contrast to make reading the contextual menu and micro-experience headlines easy for your visitors.
Don't
- Go too light. The background for the micro-experiences and contextual menu is light. Pastel or lighter colors will not be easy to spot and could prevent visitors from viewing all of the content easily
- Forget to review micro-experiences after font updates. Different fonts will display at different sizes, update the micro-experiences, and be sure to do a live preview to ensure the content still displays as expected.
