If you want to stop using Pathmonk for a while, there are actually three different options, depending on your situation.
1. Disable your micro-experiences (recommended to keep behavioral tracking)
If you simply want to pause the microexperiences on your website but continue collecting analytics, you can disable all micro-experiences directly in your Pathmonk account.
Your tracking snippet will keep running, meaning Pathmonk will continue gathering visitor data and behavioral insights, the AI will keep learning in the background.
This is the best option if want to use Pathmonk just for behavioral analytics and insights.
Keep in mind that your subscription will remain active, so billing continues during this time.
1. Click on Accelerate Growth and go to Display
2. Disable the Pathmonk Enabled toggle

2. Pause your subscription (best for temporary breaks)
You can pause your Pathmonk subscription for 1, 3, or 6 months.
While your subscription is paused:
The tracking snippet stops collecting data, so no new analytics or AI learning occurs.
All your historical data and configuration are safely stored.
When you resume, the AI automatically picks up where it left off, using previous insights to adapt quickly.
This is ideal if, for example, you’re revamping your website, going through a seasonal business pause, or temporarily reducing marketing activity.
Your subscription will reactivate automatically at the end of the pause period.
You’ll receive an email reminder one week before reactivation, in case you’d like to extend the pause further.
1. Click on Settings on the top menu, and go to Billing
2. Click on the three vertical dots next to Manage

3. Select Pause and follow the steps to confirm you want to pause

4. Select how long you’d like to pause your account, and check the confirmation box that indicates when your next payment will resume.

By pausing your account, you acknowledge that your subscription will automatically reactivate once the selected pause period ends. We’ll send you an email notification one week before reactivation in case you’d like to extend the pause or cancel your subscription instead.
Please note that to either extend the pause or cancel your account, you must first unpause it. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged when unpausing if your pause period hasn’t yet ended. Cancellations cannot be processed while an account is paused, so make sure to keep track of your unpause date. We do not issue refunds for subscriptions that reactivate automatically after a pause period, so it’s important to manage your timing accordingly.
3. Cancel your subscription
If you decide you no longer wish to use Pathmonk, you can cancel your account entirely.
Please note:
All your setup, configurations, and historical data will be permanently deleted.
The AI learning history and analytics cannot be recovered once the account is canceled.
This is a good option only if you’re sure you won’t need Pathmonk in the future or plan to start from scratch later on.
1. Click on Settings on the top menu, and go to Billing
2. Click on the three vertical dots next to Manage

3. Click on Cancel
In the event your account is paused, you’ll first need to unpause it. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged when unpausing if your pause period hasn’t yet ended. Once your account is active again, simply follow the steps above to cancel your subscription.
