How to upgrade your subscription

Modified on Thu, 6 Nov at 5:16 PM

Pathmonk subscriptions are based on monthly pageviews. A pageview is counted every time a visitor loads a page on your website where Pathmonk is active. One visitor can generate multiple pageviews if they visit several pages.

Sometimes, customers experience an increase in their traffic over time, or they realize that the subscription they initially started is not enough for their pageviews needs, so they run out of pageviews before the month ends.

If your account reaches its monthly pageview limit, this is what will happen:

  • Micro-experiences and analytics will pause.

  • No new data will be collected until the next reset.

  • All previously collected data will remain available.

  • The AI will temporarily stop learning from visitor behavior.

Pageviews only reset automatically on the first day of each month, regardless of when your subscription started. So, if this happens to you, we recommend upgrading your subscription.

1. Click on Settings on the top menu and go to Billing

2. Click on Manage next to your subscription

3. You can upgrade your pageviews limit and switch from a monthly to a yearly plan, which saves you the equivalent of two free months of Pathmonk.

We recommend keeping a buffer in your subscription to accommodate natural traffic growth.
Most businesses that actively manage their marketing see consistent increases in visitors over time.

To avoid running out of credits unexpectedly, it’s best to keep at least 20% more pageviews than your current monthly average.
