Pixel Options for Shopify Web Conversion Goal Tracking
Installing the tracking pixel in a Shopify account will track orders submitted to provide insight into the uplift of conversions in your store. Pixels can be added directly into the Pathmonk checkout page or thank you page settings or added to the custom pixel section in the Checkout Extensibility settings.
Before Installation
Before logging into your Shopify store settings, follow the instructions in our Pixel Goal Tracking article to generate your tracking pixel in your Pathmonk account.
Installing the Pixel in Shopify
- Adding tracking Pixels to Shopify stores using Post-Purchase and/or Checkout page
- From the Admin panel page, click Settings
- Click Checkout
- Scroll to the Order Status page field
- Add the pixel to the Additional scripts field
- Click Save
- Adding tracking Pixels to Shopify stores using Checkout Extensibility
- From the Admin panel page, click Settings
- Navigate to Customer Events
- Click Custom Pixels
- Add Pixel to custom pixels list
- Click Save
