Get details  about the automated distribution for Pathmonk viewing on your website

As part of the Pathmonk experience and our commitment to provide you with key insights to help you increase your conversions, all Pathmonk accounts are automatically created with our A/B test feature activated.

A/B Testing Distribution

  • For accounts < 10,000 page views per month, the A/B testing is set to 95/5 with Pathmonk visible to 95% of the visitors to your site.
  • For accounts with over 10,000 page views per month, the A/B testing is set to 50/50.

More About A/B Testing

  • The purpose of the A/B tests is to provide an additional source of Pathmonk's analytics, providing you with a control group of visitors who do not see the Pathmonk micro-experiences and an opportunity to review the conversions for both groups.
  • The A/B testing is exclusive to Pathmonk Accelerate, even when a visitor is not shown micro-experiences, their activity is still monitored and available in Pathmonk Intelligence.
  • A/B testing is only for tracking conversions for visitors from two groups, at this time, A/B testing cannot split test goals or micro-experiences.
  • A/B testing cannot track goals from external, 3rd party sources.  When using integrations like Zapier or Calendly (without a tracking a confirmation URL), the conversion goal is completed in the integration and not via Pathmonk or the website with the snippet.  The goal will still be added to the conversions results, however, it will be added to the Pathmonk disabled group, even if the visitor was in the Pathmonk enabled group.
