Testing Website and Accelerate Goals

Complete the goal-tracking set up by testing each goal

Ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of website tracking is crucial for obtaining valuable business insights through Pathmonk reporting and analytics data. After the Pathmonk and Website tracking goals have been set up, the next step is to test the goals. 

Testing Accelerate Goal Tracking

1. Confirm the Pathmonk snippet has been added to the website
2. Login to your Pathmonk account 
3. Click Intelligence
4. Click Buying Journey
5. Update the date in Segment A to "Today"
6. Click Filter
7. Select the Pathmonk goal in the Goal Type field
8. Click Apply Filter
9. Verify the number of goals currently captured
10. Go to the website as a new user
11. Click the CTA button on a micro-experience
12. Repeat steps 3-1 as often as needed

Testing Website Goal Tracking

1. Confirm the Pathmonk snippet has been added to the website
2. Login to your Pathmonk account 
3. Click Intelligence
4. Click Buying Journey
5. Update the date in Segment A to "Today"
6. Click Filter
7. Select the Website goal in the Goal Type field
8. Click Apply Filter
9. Verify the number of goals currently captured
10. Go to the website as a new user
11. Complete the goal being tracked and submit
12. Repeat steps 3-11 as often as needed

After testing, your goal numbers should increase based on the number of times the goal was completed. If your goals do not match, confirm the Pathmonk snippet is correctly installed and your goals are correctly added to the Goals Setup section of your Pathmonk account.
