Key differences in Pathmonk goal tracking for E-commerce stores
E-commerce goal tracking is unique and Pathmonk has methods to set the micro-experiences to maximize conversions.
Pathmonk offers two options for the micro-experiences, the Redirect, and the Qualification goal.
- Redirect: The redirect goal sends visitors directly to the most popular product. By clicking on the CTA in the micro-experience, the visitor is redirected to a best-seller from any page they are on while browsing. The redirect is ideal for a single product that consistently sells well on the site.
*Tip: Another redirect option, create a link with the best-selling product already in a cart for easier checkout. Visitors who click the CTA will be immediately redirected to a checkout page with the product in the cart, enabling them to complete their purchase faster.
- Qualification: When multiple, different products are often best-sellers or appeal to different visitors, a qualification goal can be used. Through a logic tree, multiple products can be offered through a micro-experience. While a qualification goal offers a larger number of best-sellers to be added to the micro-experience, the option to narrow down a project requires a visitor to click through multiple lists and may impact conversions.
