Gain a better understanding of how pageviews are counted

Why choosing the right number of Pageviews is important

The number of pageviews on an account will impact Pathmonk's effectiveness.  The more pages that display the Micro-Experiences, the more visitors will engage with them, and the more data for Intelligence and AI will be gathered.  Running out of Pageviews loses important data and opportunities for conversions.

About Pageviews

  • Pageviews reset on the first of every month, regardless of when your subscription starts.
  • Pageviews are still utilized if micro-experiences are disabled. Pathmonk Intelligence is gathering data and the AI is still learning from visitor's activity on the site, even when micro-experiences are not enabled.
  • Each Pageviews is an individual action, meaning one visitor can have multiple pageviews.
  • Pageviews are different from sessions. Some analytics provide data on sessions and a session is the combined actions of one visit, which can include multiple pageviews.
  • If an account reaches its pageview limit, before the end of the month, micro-experiences and Intelligence analytics will be paused. All previously collected data will still be available but no new data will be added after the pageviews are used.
  • You can track your pageviews used on your Pathmonk Dashboard and in your Pathmonk Intelligence Traffic report
